Northland Community Foundation
The Northland Community Foundation was established in 2004 and has been created by and for the people of Northland. Our goal is to provide a simple, effective and long-lasting way for you to give to local causes now and in the future, through a mix of endowment funds and carefully chosen projects.

Our Team
The Board of Trustees is responsible for developing, setting and managing the overall policy direction for the Foundation and for identifying worthwhile community projects throughout the region to which funding can be applied. The nine Trustees on the Board represent different local areas of Northland.

The Northland Community Foundation Grants committee manage the distribution process and develop and recommend to the Board of Trustees all policy required for grant distribution.

Project Promise
The project to build an Oncology Facility in Whangarei has been negotiated between the Northland District Health Board (NDHB) and Northland Community Foundation (NCF).
NDHB has identified a site at Whangarei Hospital where the building will be constructed.
